Riyad Hashim seems to have completely recovered from what he apparently caught in his previous team. He is up and running, with two results during four days being the best sign of great form. Due to those achievements, the team is comfortably in top 90 of OCM Tour worldwide ranking and has surpassed the 1000 points mark for the first time in its history.
With good results coming in and only 34 points to be lost during next three weeks, another mission impossible came to team manager's mind. Perm Tour. Interesting stages, various possibilities, top level race.
The mission is of course impossible, but that's the whole fun of it. 600 ranking points during three weeks. Volta ao Porto, various TT races for Morgan Arendse, Hamburg - Hannover for Riyad Hashim, maybe some nice climb for Kasper Czechowski. This may happen, this may not happen, but the team will try anyway, and have fun no matter if they fail or succeed.
In the meanwhile, Volta preparations are underway. Whole team is resting to be 100% fit. The only one to race before Porto Prologue is Morgan Arendse, who will go to Sweden to start his top form with Malmo TT race. Rest of the team is hidden from media, the only one that could be interveiwed was Teodor Jarosz, doctor, team's new employee:
Q: Mr. Jarosz, your name's means "vegetarian". Does it go in pair with what you tell the riders to eat?
J: Yes, of course, I think vegetables are the best for a cyclist, they help achieve great results.
Q: But do they contain enough energy to give power for racing?
J: Definitely. You need to know, that those are not vegetables you may buy every other day at your local shop. In addition to medicine, I studied biotechnology and my vegetables are very special ones. Research I've done proves that thanks to diet I design Bywater CT's riders will perform 1,5% better. Once team spends further 20 000 for my research, I expect to increase this bonus to 2,3%. This food works like EPO and clenbuterol taken together and, to make things better, they are absolutely safe so they are not banned.
Q: Good luck in your experiments then, although the look of cyclists eating carrots instead of energy bars seems strange to me.
